For welding fume, grinding dust, plasma/laser cutting, shot blasting, material conveying and oil mist, Yiran® provides a full range of pulse-jet dust collectors, cartridges and oil mist collectors, with emission concentration ≤10mg/m³, ensuring occupational health and environmental compliance.
China reports over 10,000 new occupational pneumoconiosis cases annually. Industrial dust control is a legal obligation for manufacturing enterprises. Meanwhile, increasingly stringent emission standards (GB 16297 and local regulations) continuously tighten dust emission limits.
Heavy metals (Mn, Cr, Ni) and metal oxides in welding fume, free silica (SiO₂) in grinding dust are confirmed occupational hazard factors. GBZ 2.1 imposes strict Permissible Concentration-Time Weighted Average (PC-TWA) requirements for various dusts. Long-term exposure to excessive dust levels can cause irreversible occupational diseases such as welder's pneumoconiosis and silicosis.
GB 16297 sets particulate emission limits at 120mg/m³ (general areas), with special limits of 10-30mg/m³ in key regions (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze Delta, Pearl River Delta). Non-compliance faces fines (100K-1M CNY), production suspension, and even criminal liability.
High-viscosity dusts (oily wet grinding dust, resin dust) readily form dense filter cakes on cartridge surfaces, causing poor cleaning and continuously rising resistance. Standard cellulose cartridges absorb moisture and lose strength in high-humidity (>60%RH) environments. Improper pulse-jet design (insufficient pressure, nozzle misalignment, valve failure) is the most common cause of shortened cartridge life.
Aluminum/magnesium dust (3C component grinding), flour/starch (food processing), coal dust (power/cement) and other combustible dusts reaching Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) concentrations can cause catastrophic explosions when encountering ignition sources (static sparks, mechanical friction, hot surfaces). Dust collection systems must incorporate explosion protection: vent panels, isolation valves, flameless venting, inerting and static-dissipative cartridges.
